The Oneida Express will head out on the road to face off against the Whitesboro Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Oneida has four straight victories, Whitesboro has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Wednesday, Oneida didn't have too much trouble with Holland Patent on the road as they won 46-32.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Whitesboro, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 64-47 loss to Rome Free Academy last Friday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Whitesboro in their matchups with Rome Free Academy: they've now lost eight in a row.
Oneida's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Whitesboro, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Everything came up roses for Oneida against Whitesboro in their previous meeting last Wednesday as the squad secured a 57-27 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Oneida since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
