The Fulton Leadership Academy Gryphons were the 68-67 winner over the Landmark Christian War Eagles when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Fulton Leadership Academy was outmatched by Landmark Christian on the road and fell 72-7. Fulton Leadership Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-1.
It was another big night for Joshua Harris, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds for Landmark Christian. The game was Harris' ninth in a row with at least ten points. Blake Pollock was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Fulton Leadership Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-1. As for Landmark Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
Fulton Leadership Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greenforest at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Landmark Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Callaway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
