Field Kindley blew Labette County out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Labette County got their revenge. The Golden Tornado fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 8-6. The Golden Tornado's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bennett Thompson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Field Kindley's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Labette County, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Coincidentally, Field Kindley and Labette County will both be playing Independence the next time they take the field. The Golden Tornado will head out to face the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Grizzlies will host them on Wednesday.
