In what's become a running theme this season, the Lincoln Christian Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 61-34 victory over Quinton at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln Christian.
Lincoln Christian found their leader in underclassman Maddi Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds. Stewart has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kayli Atkinson, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Lincoln Christian pushed their record up to 19-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for Quinton, their loss ended a 16-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 19-2.
Lincoln Christian will head out on the road to square off against the Conquerors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Quinton, they will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. McCurtain will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 184th, while the Savages are ranked 21st).
