The Chillicothe Hornets can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Barstow 54-28. Given Chillicothe's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while Barstow is ranked 392nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Jolie Bonderer, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Liz Oliver was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
The victory (which was Chillicothe's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Barstow, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Chillicothe on the road again on Thursday and play against Winnetonka on January 25th. As for Barstow, they will be playing at home against Raymore-Peculiar on Thursday. Raymore-Peculiar is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
