After soaring to 64 points the game before, Master's Hand Christian were a bit more limited in their game last Friday. They were outmatched by Providence Classical on the road and fell 63-19. Master's Hand Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-8.
Despite the loss, Master's Hand Christian had strong showings from Connor Clark, who scored four points, and Josh Young, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and two steals. It was the first time this season that Young grabbed two or more steals.
Meanwhile, sadly, Trinity Christian Homeschool is still looking for their first win of the season after eight games. They had to suffer through a rough 86-53 loss at the hands of East Central HomeSchool. Trinity Christian Homeschool has struggled against East Central HomeSchool recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Master's Hand Christian's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.0 points per game. As for Trinity Christian Homeschool, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Master's Hand Christian strolled past Trinity Christian Homeschool in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 58-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Master's Hand Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
