The Loyola College Prep Flyers lost against the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Loyola College Prep was outmatched by Calvary Baptist Academy on the road and fell 75-35. While losing is never fun, Loyola College Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 956th, while Calvary Baptist Academy is ranked 35th).
It was another big night for Rondae Hill, who scored 31 points along with five assists and five rebounds for Calvary Baptist Academy. Hill has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Bubba Strong was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six assists and two steals.
Loyola College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 24-8.
Loyola College Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 40-30 defeat vs. Northwood on the 10th. Calvary Baptist Academy has also already played their next contest, a 67-54 victory against Northwest on the 10th.
