The Ponte Vedra Sharks will take on the Fletcher Senators at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Ponte Vedra turned things around against Orange Park on Monday. They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Raiders. Considering the Sharks have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Ponte Vedra got a great performance from Max Mracek as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Madox Tepper was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Grady Hartman also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Ponte Vedra hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orange Park struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, Fletcher entered their tilt with Stanton on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 12-2 win. The Senators not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 13th.
Fletcher got a massive performance out of Gabe Hernandez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakeb McDougall, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Fletcher's record is now 8-5-1. As for Ponte Vedra, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Ponte Vedra has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Fletcher struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Ponte Vedra skirted past Fletcher 4-3 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ponte Vedra since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
