They lost 14-2 to the St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers. As for St. Anselm's Abbey, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.
On St. Anselm's Abbey's side, Connor Paletta made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Paletta was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, St. Anselm's Abbey let Jesse Webb and Alex Farmer run wild. Webb went 1-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double, while Farmer got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
