The River View Black Bears pushed their score all the way to 55 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 66-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Coshocton. River View was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Coshocton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.
Colton Conkle was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 21 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Coby Moore, who scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds.
River View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Coshocton, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
River View will head out on the road to face off against Morgan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coshocton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Maysville at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Maysville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
