The Grantsville Cowboys are taking a road trip to challenge the Kearns Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Grantsville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Meanwhile, Kearns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Clearfield, falling 11-1.
Kearns saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Rodarte, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. That run was Rodarte's first of the season.
Kearns' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Grantsville, their record is now 6-7.
