Martin Luther dropped their record down to 3-11 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the St. Catherine's Angels, falling 6-0. Spartans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Angels since on Tuesday.

As for St. Catherine's, the victory got them back to even at 8-8. The result was nothing new for the Angels, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

For St. Catherine's part, Annika Munoz was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Munoz has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 12 games.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Londyn Pardo, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
