Makenna Wright made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.6 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits.
