The Estrella Foothills Wolves waltzed into their game Friday with ten straight wins but they left with 11. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Westview 57-22 at home. The result was nothing new for Estrella Foothills, who have now won ten matches by 30 points or more so far this season.
Alina Bowden continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Eva Amenhauser was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Estrella Foothills' win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points per game. As for Westview, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Estrella Foothills won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Crismon at 9:00 a.m. on December 16th. Crismon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while Estrella Foothills is ranked 15th). Westview will be home for the holidays to greet Glendale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
