O'Gorman is 0-3 against Brandon Valley since April of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Lynx at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
O'Gorman barely beat Yankton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights never let the Bucks/Gazelles get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Friday. Considering the Knights' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Mary Koch made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with four RBI.
In other batting news, Sonia Deckert was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Ellie Van Wyhe also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
O'Gorman hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Yankton struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, Brandon Valley came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Kernels as they made off with a 16-3 victory.
Brandon Valley got a massive performance out of Briley Laber, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Amdahl, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI and one run.
Brandon Valley's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for O'Gorman, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5.
O'Gorman couldn't quite get it done against Brandon Valley in their previous matchup on Tuesday as they fell 6-1. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
