Liberty Union has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Fairfield Union Falcons at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Liberty Union focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
Even though Circleville scored an imposing 56 points, Liberty Union still came out on top. Liberty Union secured a 60-56 W over Circleville.
Noah Shook was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tomas Winter, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Fairfield Union's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They walked away with a 39-26 win over Logan Elm.
The victory got Liberty Union back to even at 6-6. As for Fairfield Union, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-5.
Liberty Union came up short against Fairfield Union in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 49-43. Can Liberty Union avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
