Cornerstone Christian had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 63-55 to Grace Prep on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grace Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nash Hall, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds. Noah Daniels was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 7 rebounds.
Cornerstone Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Grace Prep, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cornerstone Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Water Valley at 6:15 p.m. on December 12th. As for Grace Prep, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Bishop Dunne at 2:30 p.m. on December 1st.
