The Millington Central Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 58-31 loss at the hands of Dyer County. Millington Central has struggled against Dyer County recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Bailey Boone and Alana Whiten certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Boone scored 10 points, while Whiten scored 10 points. Boone scored a full 32.3% of Millington Central's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Millington Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Dyer County, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Millington Central will be playing at home against Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dyer County, they will head out on the road to face off against Union City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
