You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Pyramid Lake on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams out of the water with a 75-15 final score. The Lakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Pyramid Lake was led to victory by Lorena Eben and Kaitlin Mandell. Eben dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds, while Mandell posted five points in addition to ten assists, eight steals, and seven boards. Mandell has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Lara, who had ten points and five boards.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Pyramid Lake was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Pyramid Lake pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points per game. As for Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Pyramid Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 61-17 win against Sage Ridge on the 1st. As for Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage, they will take on Smith Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Smith Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage surely won't give up without a fight.
