Superior came into Saturday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Somerset by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Superior also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Kiley Murray paced Superior's offense, picking up seven kills. Murray got some help from Claire Egnash and her ten assists. Anna Matthias controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Superior's win bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Somerset, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

Looking ahead, Superior will welcome Grand Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Somerset, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Eau Claire North on the 4th.
