Several Miners players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nasier Berrien, who posted 17 points. That's the most points Berrien has posted since back in January of 2024. Mekhi Berrien was another key player, putting up 12 points.
Lakeland Christian found their leader in sophomore Joseph Donohue, who had 15 points along with six boards and five assists. Donohue's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. DJ Howard also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
Fort Meade's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Lakeland Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-14.
Fort Meade wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-49 victory against Mulberry on the 16th. As for Lakeland Christian, they will take on Tenoroc at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
