Breaux Bridge extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping them down to 4-15. They came up short against the Teurlings Catholic Rebels, falling 14-1. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 19-1 to the Rebels when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Calie C was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
As for Teurlings Catholic, their record is now 19-13. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
On Teurlings Catholic's side, Reagan Brasseaux and Ella Jolivette made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Brasseaux pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Jolivette tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Brasseaux has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, Brasseaux went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Jolivette went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most runs Brasseaux has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Kylie Boutte was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Bailee Hebert was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Breaux Bridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Teurlings Catholic, they will challenge Livonia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
