A well-balanced attack led Franklin over Laguna Creek in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. The Franklin Wildcats blew past the Laguna Creek Cardinals 70-49. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.
Aiden Rollins was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Benjamin Sandy, who went 6 for 12 en route to 15 points and six rebounds.
Franklin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in February of 2024.
Laguna Creek's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Sayid Davis was another key player, putting up ten points.
Franklin's record now sits at 18-4. As for Laguna Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 88-79 victory against Cosumnes Oaks on the 29th. Laguna Creek has also already played their next game, a 54-41 loss against Elk Grove on the 29th.
