Meanwhile, Fairborn came into Friday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They enjoyed a cozy 56-37 victory over Greenville on Friday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Fairborn has managed all season.
West Carrollton's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Fairborn, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
West Carrollton couldn't quite finish off the Skyhawks when the teams last played back in January and fell 62-59. Can West Carrollton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
