Mascenic Regional has gone a perfect 3-0 against Concord Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vikings will face off against the Kingsmen at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Mascenic Regional is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Portsmouth Christian Academy, who was ranked 25th at the time (Mascenic Regional was ranked 15th). The Vikings put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 11-1 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Concord Christian came out on top against Portsmouth Christian Academy on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Kingsmen narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Eagles 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Kingsmen have posted since May 12th.

Concord Christian let TJ Charbono and Connor Faherty run wild. Charbono got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one RBI, while Faherty went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Daniel Stopyro was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Mascenic Regional has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Concord Christian, they moved to 11-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Mascenic Regional came out on top in a nail-biter against Concord Christian when the teams last played on May 13th, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
