Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beau Chene). They snuck past the Brookeland Wildcats with a 66-61 victory on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Gators as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Beau Chene's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Brookeland, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Beau Chene will challenge Lafayette Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brookeland, they will square off against Pineywoods Community Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' defense better be ready for this one: the Timberwolves have averaged an impressive 56.3 points per game this season.
