The Millbrook Blazers lost to the Onteora Eagles back in December of 2022, but the Millbrook Blazers didn't allow the Onteora Eagles the same satisfaction on Friday. Millbrook walked away with a 54-43 win over Onteora. The win made it back-to-back wins for Millbrook.
Millbrook can attribute much of their success to Owen Iannucci, who scored 27 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Iannucci has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Hunter Williamson, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Millbrook now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Onteora, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Millbrook will head out on the road to face off against Mount Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mount Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Onteora will be home for the holidays to greet Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
