Hegwood has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.
Meanwhile, Forest Hills pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 71-55 fall against West Stanly.
Central Academy's loss was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Forest Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
Central Academy was taken down by Forest Hills 58-25 when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Forest Hills' Tamuria "leyah" Melton, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds.
