The Delta Panthers will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Moffat County Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on November 18th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Delta extended their postseason success on Saturday against The Classical Academy. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Titans 16-14.
Delta relied on the efforts of Ty Reed, who only threw for 84 passing yards and a score through the air, and Talan Hulet, who rushed for 127 yards.
Meanwhile, Moffat County waltzed into Saturday's match with five straight wins but they left with six. They slipped by Berthoud 14-13.
The critical scores for Moffat County came from Zachary Hedman and Hudson Jones.
Delta has yet to lose a contest on the road this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record. As for Moffat County, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
Saturday's contest might be decided on the ground as these two are both standouts in the run game. Delta has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 220 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Moffat County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 188.8 per game. It's looking like Saturday's game might have some serious battles in the trenches.
