Glenbard North never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Batavia on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Bulldogs. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

Avery Miller made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Gia Whelan was incredible, firing off two home runs, three RBI, and one double while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Tru Medina, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Glenbard North's record now sits at 12-3. As for Batavia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Glenbard North didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-10 defeat against St. Charles East on the 5th. As for Batavia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-5 victory against Naperville North on the 3rd.
