Oceanside (Calif.) notched 10 points on top of its 33-point lead going into the fourth quarter to win against La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, Calif.) 43-0.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, the Pirates led 20-0 at the half.

The loss snapped La Costa Canyon's four-game winning streak.
The Mavericks came in giving up 15.5 points per game this season. La Costa Canyon had a hard time against Oceanside's offense, who entered the game scoring 5.9 points per game. Oceanside came into the game allowing 17.4 points per game.
The loss comes after La Costa Canyon defeated Vista 21-7 last week. With the win OHS extended its winning streak to four games.
