Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln). They took their game on Sunday with ease, bagging a 78-51 victory over the Holy Name Green Wave. The win was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lincoln now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Holy Name, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Lincoln and Holy Name could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Lincoln (ranked 307th) will meet Licking Heights (ranked 110th) at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Holy Name will take on Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 538 places (598 vs. 60).
