The Lompoc Braves will be playing at home against the Atascadero Greyhounds at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Lompoc suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 66-37 loss at the hands of Arroyo Grande. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lompoc in their matchups with Arroyo Grande: they've now lost five in a row.
Meanwhile, Atascadero waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 72-70 win over Templeton. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Lompoc has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Atascadero, they pushed their record up to 11-9 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Lompoc skirted past Atascadero 59-56 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Does Lompoc have another victory up their sleeve, or will Atascadero turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
