Volleyball Recap: Bay Port Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Bay Port entered their tilt with Ashwaubenon on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 win. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jaguars, too.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Ayla Colombo, who had seven digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high. Hayden Veraghen also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Bay Port's record now sits at 20-4. As for Ashwaubenon, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.

Bay Port didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Kettle Moraine Lutheran on the 11th. As for Ashwaubenon, they will head out to challenge Seymour at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
