Given Hilliard Bradley's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 164th, while Stivers School for the Arts is ranked 634th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Hilliard Davidson sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-43 win over Marysville on Friday. The win was just what Hilliard Davidson needed coming off of a 62-25 loss in their prior matchup.
The victory makes it two in a row for Hilliard Bradley and bumps their season record up to 3-2. As for Hilliard Davidson, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Hilliard Bradley didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Hilliard Davidson when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 41-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hilliard Bradley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
