After only two runs in their last matchup, Louisburg made sure to put some runs up on the board against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability on Monday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 20-2 victory. Considering the Warriors have won six games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Jake Layton, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs and two RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Mason Leonard was another key player, going 1-for-2 with four runs and one RBI.
