Port Washington made easy work of Hicksville on Friday and carried off a 35-14 victory. That looming 21-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Port Washington yet.
The win got Port Washington back to even at 3-3. The loss dropped Hicksville's record to 2-5.
The teams are both focusing on improving their conference standings in their upcoming contests. Next week Port Washington will take on Farmingdale at 6:30 PM. Port Washington will be hoping to continue their now four-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Hicksville, they will face off against Long Beach. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
