Strawberry Crest had lost four straight headed into Saturday's matchup, but Zoe Bullock didn't let it get to five. The Chargers won by a set and slipped past the Viera Hawks 2-1 for which the team can thank Bullock, who had seven digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Strawberry Crest had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-21, 15-7.

Strawberry Crest's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Viera, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Strawberry Crest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Oak Hall on the 30th. As for Viera, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Vero Beach on the 3rd.
