The biggest upset of the week belonged to Northeastern, who took down 490th ranked Northeastern, 33-22. Colin VERNON threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns and ran for six yards in the win.
Greeneview moved up to 503 from 537 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Ohio Heritage. The Rams were able to make move up by beating Southeastern Local 14-9.
Mechanicsburg's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Aeryton ERWIN chipped in 162 yards. David HARVEY helped Mechanicsburg's passing attack out by catching one ball for 27 yards.
Brandon PURK was the best wideout in the league this week as the Indians beat the Jets. PURK racked up eight receptions for 172 yards.
Mechanicsburg's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. VERNON has thrown for 1499 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while PURK has 54 catches for 1049 yards. ERWIN leads the league in rushing with 1116 yards.
West Liberty-Salem extended the longest winning streak in Ohio Heritage this week by beating Triad, 34-7. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
