Jordin Sifuentes made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Ali Weber was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Annastasia Hernandez, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
