She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  doubles, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Ava Hainsey was cooking despite her team's loss,   getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  RBI and one  double.
Curwensville's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 14-7. As for DuBois Central Catholic, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record  this season.
 Curwensville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for DuBois Central Catholic, they will face off against Juniata Valley at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Cardinals 3.2, the Hornets 3.7) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
