Coldwater extended the longest winning streak in Midwest Athletic this week by beating Parkway, 47-6. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Coldwater led the league in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on the Panthers. Austin Bruns threw for 143 yards and one touchdown and ran for 37 yards in the win.
Coldwater's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cavaliers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Bruns has thrown for 1799 yards and 22 touchdowns this season, while Josh Huber has 30 catches for 494 yards. Bruns also leads the league in rushing with 423 yards.
A big matchup in Midwest Athletic this week will be when Minster takes on St. John's. At the moment, the Wildcats are in second, while the Bluejays are in sixth.
Parkway made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,423 from 9,716. The advance stemmed from a 47-6 victory over Dan Cairns' team last week.
