In what's become a running theme this season, Butler gave their fans yet another huge win on Sunday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Johnson 71-31 on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-21.
Butler got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Xamiya Walton out in front who scored 17 points along with eight assists and seven steals. Walton has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last six times she's played. Xyanna Walton was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Chicago Washington blew past Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park, posting a 38-11 win at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chicago Washington.
Butler has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 20-10 record this season. As for Chicago Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.
