Drummond is 6-0 against the Lynx since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Drummond Trojans will play host again and welcome the Lincoln Lynx, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Drummond's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so the Lynx's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Drummond put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 50-19 win over Valley Christian at home. With Drummond ahead 34-11 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Drummond's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kimber Parsons led the charge by scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Lexi Nelson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Lincoln came up short against the Elks on Saturday and fell 49-36.
Drummond's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Everything came up roses for Drummond against the Lynx in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 62-11 win. Will Drummond repeat their success, or do the Lynx have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
