Aidan Ysaguirre Delivers Electric Performance Vs Heritage Academy
Santa Cruz Valley picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Aidan Ysaguirre. Heritage Academy had no answer to Ysaguirre as he rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Ysaguirre is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
Ysaguirre is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against San Tan Charter on Friday. Ysaguirre rushed for 184 yards the last time he and the Roadrunners duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kaleb (Bubba) Burras Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Heritage Academy had to settle for second on Friday, but Kaleb (Bubba) Burras sure wasn't going down easily. (Bubba) Burras made a major impact, rushing for 158 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 184 yards and two touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.3) per game. His longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, (Bubba) Burras might just drop another big game when he faces off against Arete Prep on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time (Bubba) Burras saw the CHARGERS), he rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 101 yards and two touchdowns.

San Tan Charter Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Uriah Neloms
Uriah Neloms was instrumental in extending San Tan Charter's winning streak to six on Friday. Neloms did his part (and then some), throwing for 265 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes for the 'W'.
San Tan Charter pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Neloms and San Tan Charter will look to defend their home field on Friday against Santa Cruz Valley at 7:00 p.m.

Lamario Claiborne Goes Supernova in Heritage Academy Loss
The second Heritage Academy player making an appearance here is Lamario Claiborne, and for good reason. He picked up three sacks, forced a fumble, and made seven total tackles (5.0 for loss). He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 64 yards.
