Macks Creek scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Lakeland on the road to the tune of 94-28. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 60-14.
India Willis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. Addison Ratliff was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six steals.
Wheatland posted their biggest victory since January 4th on Tuesday. They blew past Osceola 65-35 on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wheatland.
Macks Creek pushed their record up to 15-2 with that win, which was their 11th straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 47.64 points. As for Wheatland, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Macks Creek was able to grind out a solid victory over Wheatland in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 57-48. Will Macks Creek repeat their success, or does Wheatland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
