Softball Recap: Leland Has No Trouble Against West Bolivar

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Humphreys County, Leland was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the West Bolivar Eagles 21-4. Considering the Cubs have won five matchups by more than 14 runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Leland's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for West Bolivar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Leland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Bolivar, they will head out to take on Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
