Meanwhile, Bethel's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 60-51 to Emerald Ridge. While losing is never fun, Bethel can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while Emerald Ridge is ranked 123rd).
Graham-Kapowsin is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Bethel, they bumped their record down to 2-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Graham-Kapowsin was able to grind out a solid victory over Bethel in their previous matchup on January 6th, winning 70-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for Graham-Kapowsin since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
