Bell was led to victory by Lindsey Collett and Maddie Smith. Collett scored 13 points along with three steals, while Smith scored 13 points along with six steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least 25% of Bell's points.
Cedar Key has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Bell, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Cedar Key will head out on the road to face off against Oak Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bell won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Countryside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 5th. Countryside Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
