The Saint Andrew's Scots put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past St. John Paul II Academy 59-14 at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Saint Andrew's also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Among those leading the charge was Savanna Smith, who scored 13 points. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Delaney Beighley, who scored 11 points.
Saint Andrew's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for St. John Paul II Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saint Andrew's will stay at home for another game and welcome Pine Crest at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Pine Crest will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 370th, while Saint Andrew's is ranked 91st). St. John Paul II Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Grandview Prep at 5:00 p.m. on December 21st.
